Dr. Jolanta Smyda
DDS, University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry
Jolanta Smyda, DDS, earned Dental Degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She graduated with honors in the top 5 percent of her class. While in the dental school, she was awarded the Francis B. Vedder Society of Crown and Bridge Prosthodontics Senior Dental Student award. Dr. Smyda was also placed on the Dean’s List every semester, and was elected to membership in the prestigious dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon and obtained Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Restorative Dentistry. After graduation, she chose West Texas for her home, where she has been practicing dentistry since 2011.
Dr. Smyda always strives for excellence. She believes in giving the highest quality dental care and takes extra measures to make sure her patients are comfortable. Dr. Smyda has developed a particular gift for working with adults and children to establish sound dental habits to assist patients in their lifetime of optimal dental health. She is dedicated to staying abreast of the latest developments in the dental field.
Dr. Smyda is a member of American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and South Plains District Dental Society. She was awarded the Regional 2014 Leadership Award from Smile on and Develop Talent.
Dr. Smyda and her husband Gregory are parents of two children, Jacob and Elizabeth.

Meet Our Team
Janice Warren -
Registered Dental Hygienist
Janice Warren was raised in West Texas. She attended Hardin-Simmons University where she received a Bachelor of Behavioral Science degree and graduated summa cum laude. Janice graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center, Dental Branch, School of Dental Hygiene in Houston in 1983.
During her career, Janice has combined teaching and practicing dental hygiene. She enjoys working with people of all ages, teaching them how to keep a healthy smile.
Janice lives in Sudan. She has two children and five grandchildren. She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Kendra Homer -
Patient Care Coordinator/Office Manager
Kendra has worked in the dental field for over 10 years, the last 5 with Dr. Roy Burk and now with Dr. Jolanta Smyda.
She was born and raised in Littlefield. She and her husband Steve live in Shallowater with their 3 children.
She enjoys assisting patients with their dental needs.
Layna Clardy Zambrano -
Registered Dental Assistant
Layna graduated from Lubbock Dental Assisting school in 2014. She has been employed by Dr. Jolanta Smyda since August 2017.
She was raised in Anton, Spade area. She and her husband Eric live in Littlefield with their son.
Layna assists Dr. Smyda with all the patients’ needs.
